TogoIDは、生命科学分野のデータベース(DB)のID間の対応関係を検索および変換することができるウェブアプリケーションです。DBCLSによって開発・運用されています。遺伝子、タンパク質、化合物、疾患、遺伝子多型といった幅広いカテゴリーに渡る62種(2021年8月時点)のIDを対象としています。カテゴリー内でのID変換だけでなく、例えば疾患のIDからその疾患に関わる遺伝子のIDに変換するなど、関連する他のカテゴリーのIDへの変換も可能です。TogoIDでは、変換されたIDをすぐに他のサービスで利用できるようクリップボードにコピーする機能があるほか、変換されたIDリスト、IDに対応するURL、そして変換経路のすべてのIDを含むデータをCSV形式でダウンロードすることができます。対象DBのIDに関するメタデータや、IDペアの更新方法、更新頻度などをGitHubレポジトリ上で管理(togoid-config)することで、常に最新のID間の対応関係を得られるようにしています。 ウェブインターフェイスだけでなく、APIも用意しており、他のアプリケーションからのID変換にも利用することができます。
TogoID is the web application to search and convert correspondence between IDs from life science databases. It has been developed and maintained by DBCLS. It covers 62 life science databases across a wide range of categories including genes, proteins, compounds, diseases, genetic polymorphisms, and so on (As of Aug2021). Users with an ID (list) can convert IDs not only within a category but also through different types of categories. For example, you can start disease IDs to find the related gene IDs. TogoID has a function to copy the converted IDs to the clipboard so that users can immediately use them in other services. It also allows users to download the converted ID list, the URLs corresponding to the IDs, and the data including all IDs in the conversion path in CSV format. The metadata about IDs in the target DB, the update method of ID pairs, and the update frequency are managed on the GitHub repository (togoid-config), so that the latest correspondences between IDs can always be obtained. It provides not only a web interface but also an API, which can be used for ID conversion from other applications.
