PubAnnotation はDBCLSが開発する、Webブラウザ上でアノテーションの編集をすることができるウェブツールです。特にPubMedやPMCに収載されているような生命科学の文献に対してアノテーションを簡単に付与することができるように設計されています。PubAnnotationでは、すべてのアノテーションをPubMedやPMCから得られた標準テキストにマップし、同じ文献に対するアノテーションが標準テキストを介して相互にリンクされるようになります。このことによって、各種のアノテーションを比較したり、統合したりすることができるようになります。
今回は、開発者であるDBCLSの金 進東によるハンズオン形式でその使い方を紹介します。
In this tutorial, it is going to be explained how to create annotations to documents, using PubAnnotation. PubAnnotation is one of the services provided by DBCLS, which are listed in the "Services" page of the DBCLS homepage. PubAnnotation is a repository of text annotations which open to the public. While the annotation data on PubAnnotatin is freely accessible, for you to create new annotations, you need to login to the system.
